The HVS-organised 7th China Hotel Investment Conference held in Shanghai from 20 to 22 April 2011, successfully brought together a mega-show of top executives spanning from senior government officials, bankers, fund managers, investors to CEO-level speakers of the leading mainland China and international firms in the hospitality industry. The main topics of debate and exchange of information focused on big-picture global economy and the role of China in driving growth as well as plentiful opportunities across the second-largest economy in the world. The conference convened a record of over 750 participants and featured some 230 senior executives from some 120 Chinese and international real estate developers.
